Garrick Dion

Garrick Dion recently joined Bron Studios after nearly 8 years with LA based Bold Films, where he was involved in helping to produce Damien Chazelle’s Sundance Grand Jury Prize-winning drama Whiplash, writer-director Dan Gilroy’s debut Nightcrawler, starring Jake Gyllenhaal, Nicholas Winding Refn’s Drive, and Ryan Gosling’s forthcoming directorial debut, Lost River. Previous stints in production/development include working with producers of The Matrix and Batman Returns. He also has worked as a writer on several features, including the still-in-development Children of the Gun for director Fabrice DuWelz and the Nicholas Sparks adaptation A Walk to Remember. A Massachusetts native and a child of the HBO ("Hey, Beastmaster's On!") Generation, he has been on the Melies Jury at the 2012 Sitges Film Festival. He currently resides in Los Angeles' Miracle Mile, and is a huge fan of Steve DeJarnatt's underrated paranoia-thriller-cum-end-of-the-world-love-story of the same name.
